In recent news we all learned that a high-risk sex offender recently moved into our community. What makes this story most disturbing is residents in the neighborhood he was was residing found out about his presence by an anonymous flier rather than the township or local law enforcement!
Have our laws gone too far to protect the criminals at the risk of our own safety and that of our children? I think so but what can we do about it?

I'm completely against having a high-risk sex offender living in the same area. However, as much as I hate to say it, but criminals do have rights too. The law does not protect them, but it protects everyone. There's not only one sex offender in Voorhees, but theres quite a few. Just go to the state of NJ website and search for Megan's Law. I know there's a way to search and see what kind of sex offenders out there living in your area.
